Position: Experienced Chef wanted for immediate start.

Part-time or fulltime for right candidate The iconic Lexie’s on the beach cafe and Crow’s Nest restaurant, a freshly opened rooftop bar with elevated dining has sweeping ocean views. Known for our handcrafted meals, curated wines and friendly team; we’re a popular spot for locals, travellers and private events, including wedding receptions and corporate events.

What you’ll be doing

- Joining a fantastic team - our head chef has been here for almost a decade.
- Preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes following established recipes and procedures.
- Ensuring all meals are presented in an appealing and appetising manner
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Adhering to all health, safety and food hygiene regulations
- Assisting with inventory and ordering
- Collaborating with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service
- Assisting with menu planning and development, menu changes seasonally.

What we’re looking for:




- A reliable chef who is easy-going, positive and genuinely team-minded.
- Proven experience as a Chef or cook - minimum of 3 years
- We value creativity in the kitchen and encourage input on specials, presentation and menu development
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
- Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure - we get very busy !
- Suited to candidates seeking part time work or additional hours around other commitments as well as those seeking fulltime hours.

Pay: $54,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
