Per Diem is building the Per Diem Creator Network: a community of creators who help showcase great local cafés, bakeries, restaurants, and food brands.

We’re looking for energetic, creative content creators in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane to visit local businesses and create short-form social content. This is a flexible, freelance-style internship for someone who loves food culture, social media, and storytelling.

What you’ll do

- Visit local cafés, bakeries, restaurants, and food brands
- Create TikToks, Instagram Reels, and short-form video content
- Capture raw footage, B-roll, and vertical photography
- Showcase products, mobile ordering, loyalty programs, and the customer experience
- Work with Per Diem’s marketing team on creative concepts and campaign direction
- Deliver organised, high-quality content by agreed deadlines
- Communicate professionally with merchants and the Per Diem team

Compensation

- $100+ AUD per completed and approved content package
- Approved travel expenses reimbursed
- Food and drinks provided during visits
- Flexible, assignment-based work with potential for recurring projects





A typical content package includes one edited TikTok or Instagram Reel, raw footage from the visit, and three to five vertical photos.

What we’re looking for

- Based in or near Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane
- Active on TikTok and/or Instagram
- Comfortable filming and editing on an iPhone or similar smartphone
- Strong eye for food, culture, and visual storytelling
- Familiar with current social media trends
- Organised, reliable, and comfortable working independently
- Transparent and professional communicator

Marketing, hospitality, and media students are encouraged to apply, but we care more about creativity, taste, and storytelling than a traditional résumé.
