N F Corbett is currently looking for an experienced Building and Civil Estimator to join our team.

Based in Brendale N F Corbett constructs projects throughout Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. N F Corbett is currently a preferred contractor for many in the Electrical and Renewables sectors which see’s N F Corbett partnering to deliver many Substation and Transmission projects throughout Australia.

Our building project portfolio has varied over the years, adapting to demands of the Australian economy and includes education, commercial and sporting and leisure projects.

Key responsibilities will include:





- Taking the lead on tender submissions for commercial and civil projects ranging in value from $500K to $30 million
- Attending tender interviews
- Producing Bills of Quantities including quantifying materials from first principles
- Rating and pricing Bills of Quantities
- Assessing and evaluation quotations and pricing from supplies and sub-contractors
- Producing professional tender submissions

Selection criteria will include:

- Proven track record within the commercial and/or civil building sector
- Strong understanding of all stages and elements of construction
- Previous experience tendering commercial and/or civil projects up to $30m in value
- Experience using contemporary software systems preferred e.g, Buildsoft/Cubit
- Strong relationship building skills with clients, sub-contractors
- Good understanding of the current sub-contractor market in Queensland
