About the position
Council’s City Works team is looking for a City Presentation Officer who will be responsible who will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing Council’s infrastructure and assets across the Frankston municipality in accordance with works and management programs.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Perform infrastructure maintenance, cleansing and minor civil repair works across roads, drainage, signage and public infrastructure assets;
- Operate and maintain a range of plant, equipment and Council fleet vehicles, including sweepers and cleansing equipment, in accordance with safety procedures; and
- Undertake inspections, maintain accurate records, and ensure public spaces are presented to a high visual standard through litter collection, graffiti removal and drainage clearing.
This is a permanent full-time role working 38 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday.
About you
- Construction or trades-related experience maintaining infrastructure networks, roads, signage and drainage assets;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team,
with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality outcomes; and
- Current Driver Licence, with experience operating plant, mechanical equipment and infrastructure maintenance tools.
