City Cave Epping is looking for a hands-on, energetic and commercially minded Centre Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of our Float & Wellness Centre.

This is not a desk-only management role. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with customers, leading a team and actively participating in the operation of the centre. You will also play an important role in growing memberships, packages, bookings and local awareness of City Cave Epping.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the centre, ensuring it runs smoothly, safely and professionally.
- Lead, coordinate and support reception staff and massage therapists, including rostering, attendance and performance.
- Deliver excellent customer service from greeting and service introduction through to checkout, rebooking and follow-up.
- Be hands-on with centre operations, including room flipping between appointments, preparing treatment rooms, checking Float and Sauna rooms, maintaining presentation standards and supporting cleaning when required.
- Monitor opening and closing procedures and ensure operational checklists are completed.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, hygiene and customer experience throughout the centre.
- Manage customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Take ownership of sales performance, including memberships, packages, gift cards, rebooking and cross-selling appropriate wellness services.
- Develop and execute local sales and marketing initiatives to increase new customers and repeat visits.
- Build relationships with local businesses, retirement communities, gyms, health professionals and other potential referral partners.
- Support promotions, events, social media activities and local community engagement.
- Monitor bookings and identify quieter periods, implementing initiatives to improve utilisation.
- Recruit, onboard, train and support team members as required.
- Report regularly to the owner on centre performance, staffing, customer feedback, sales and operational issues.





What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who is proactive, organised, reliable and sales-oriented. Previous experience in wellness, beauty, massage, fitness, hospitality, retail or another customer-facing business would be highly regarded.

Strong communication and people-management skills are important, along with the confidence to speak with customers about memberships and wellness services.

Weekend availability is essential. The successful candidate must have the ability to work across weekends as part of their normal roster.

Flexible Working Hours

We understand that flexibility is important. The role offers flexible working hours, with the roster structured around the operational needs of the centre.

In return, we need a manager who is equally flexible and prepared to be present during important trading periods, including weekends, busy periods and occasional opening or closing shifts.

The Person We Want

You will suit this role if you are comfortable doing both sides of centre management: one moment discussing memberships with a customer or developing a local promotion, and the next helping the team flip a room so the next guest has an exceptional experience.

We are particularly interested in someone who thinks like an operator and business builder, not simply an administrator.
