Are you an experienced Life Claims professional who gets genuine satisfaction from helping others learn, grow and succeed? Perhaps you're the person colleagues turn to when they need help understanding a complex claim, interpreting a policy, or making a difficult decision.

As a Claims Technical Learning Consultant, you'll combine your life claims expertise with capability development, helping build the next generation of claims professionals. Working within our Talent and People Development team, you'll shape onboarding experiences, uplift technical capability across the claims function, and play an important role in improving outcomes for both our people and our customers.

Your claims expertise will become the foundation for how others learn. Whether it's helping new starters build confidence, coaching experienced assessors through complex scenarios, or turning technical knowledge into practical learning experiences, you'll have a direct impact on the capability of our Life Claims teams.

What does this look like in practice:

- Leading the technical onboarding experience for new Life Claims professionals,



helping them build confidence from day one.
- Facilitating engaging workshops, coaching sessions and practical learning experiences that bring claims concepts to life.
- Partnering with Claims leaders and technical specialists to identify capability gaps and development opportunities.
- Using insights from quality reviews, audits and customer outcomes to strengthen technical capability across the team.
- Creating and continuously improving learning resources that simplify complex policy, product and claims concepts.
- Supporting a culture where knowledge sharing, coaching and continuous improvement are part of everyday work.

Important to your success - let's grow togetherYou'll be a naturally collaborative and curious person who enjoys sharing knowledge and helping others succeed. You communicate with empathy, build trusted relationships across different stakeholder groups, and have a practical approach to turning technical expertise into meaningful learning experiences. In order to be successful, you will have the following:

- Experience assessing retail life and/or group life insurance claims
- Strong technical claims knowledge, including policy interpretation and claims decision making
- Experience coaching, mentoring, supporting or developing colleagues within a claims workplace
- Excellent facilitation, communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to analyse trends or insights and identify opportunities to improve capability outcomes
- Confidence using digital tools and technology to support learning and development initiatives
