The Role:

We are seeking a part time Cleaner with experience in commercial cleaning to join our team based at Elwick Racecourse in Glenorchy. Reporting to the Project & Facilities Supervisor, this position will be responsible for cleaning the greyhound kennels and surrounds, three times a week. This position will be 12 hours per week, working Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8.00am-12.00pm.

Key Responsibilities:

- Cleaning of greyhound kennels
- Cleaning outside kennels
- Protected handling of chemicals and/or hazardous substances
- Safe storage of chemicals and/or hazardous substances
- Glass, window, floors, door, walls, and surfaces cleaning




- Identify and report potential hazards and issues
- Record and report incidents

About You:

- Relevant qualifications and experience in cleaning
- Strong knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety
- Strong knowledge in the use of commercial cleaning equipment
- Previous experience in storing and handling cleaning chemicals
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Current “C” class drivers’ license
