THE ROLE

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will work as part of the team to ensure a high level of cleanliness is maintained throughout the site, in accord with stringent quality and food safety standards.

Responsibilities include

- To ensure that a high level of cleanliness is maintained on a daily basis.
- Cleaning all surfaces, fixtures and fittings.
- Cleaning floors, walls on a large scale.
- Cleaning lunchrooms, toilets and hand wash basins.
- Maintain paper towels, hand sanitizers and soaps around the bakery,
- Cleaning equipment after use.
- Following the cleaning schedule and make continuous improvement for the business.
- Cleaning and maintaining waste bins.




- Prepare and operate routine equipment/resources/materials as set out in instructions, and ensure cleanliness of equipment, check for quality and safety, and report any faults to the relevant officer.
- Safe handling of chemicals.

To be successful in this role you will need:
- The person must be fit and healthy, have valuable attention to detail.
- Reliable, trustworthy and ability to react to changes.
- Work collaboratively within the team
- Strong knowledge of workplace and food safety (HACCP) in a similar environment is an advantage.
- We have two role - one is a day shift, the other is afternoon / night. Some weekend work may be required.
