$94,693.90 per annum base

Permanent Full Time | 36 Hour Week | Fortnightly RDO

We are seeking 4 Cleansing Multi-Skilled Officers to join our highly energetic, and hard working Cleansing team based at the Keilor Park Operations Centre.

The role

As a Cleansing Multi-Skilled Officer, you will play a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness of our roads and footpaths as well as preserving the presentation of our municipality.

Depending on the day, the role will see you working autonomously or in teams of 2-4 and with a strong focus on safety, your responsibilities will include:

- Operating various plant and equipment – see position description for a detailed list
- Reporting safety hazards and issues to the Supervisor
- Collaborate with team members to organise materials and complete tasks
- Participating in tool box meetings and training
- Using your initiative and problem solving skills to complete allocated tasks
- Contributing ideas for changes and improvements in work practices to enhance safety and efficiency

- Physical fitness - for a detailed overview of the physical requirements of this role, refer to the attached Job Task Analysis
- Medium Rigid Truck Drivers Licence
- Experience operating road & footpath sweepers
- OH&S; Induction Card
- Availability to work overtime, weekends/nights (on a rotating roster)

Please include in your application other experience or licenses you have, such as:

- Skid Steer Loader Certificate of Competency or may be obtained during first six months with Council*
- Traffic Control & Worksite Traffic Management skills & qualifications or may be obtained during first six months with Council*
- Spotters electrical safety awareness qualification or may be obtained during first six months with Council*
- Heavy Rigid Licence*
- *Please note, if these requirements are not met upon commencement, Council will provide required training.
