UGL’s long-standing alliance with Endeavour Energy has a strong operational foundation and is now entering its next phase. We are looking for a senior client leader to strengthen the partnership and help shape its future direction and growth.

About the role Reporting directly to the General Manager Utilities O&M;, the Client Director will lead the development and growth of UGL’s relationship with Endeavour Energy. With day-to-day delivery managed by the Operations and Program teams, your focus will be the executive relationship, strategic direction and long-term success of the alliance. Based between UGL’s North Sydney office and Endeavour Energy’s Parramatta head office, you will act as the senior interface between both organisations, strengthening executive relationships and ensuring the right conversations happen well before opportunities reach the market.
Key responsibilities
- Own and develop the strategic relationship between UGL and Endeavour Energy, building trusted connections with executives and senior decision-makers.
- Lead the alliance strategy and account plan, with a clear focus on its long-term health, direction and sustainable growth.
- Develop a deep understanding of Endeavour Energy’s priorities, challenges and future plans, bringing relevant industry insights into strategic conversations.
- Establish solid relationship governance, including regular strategic forums, executive reviews and relationship planning across both organisations.
- Identify and shape opportunities early, working alongside the Operations and Program Managers to ensure strategic commitments can be translated into successful delivery.

About you
- Significant experience managing executive customer relationships and growing major accounts, alliances or long-term partnerships.
- Strong strategic account planning skills, with the ability to understand a customer’s priorities, pressures and decision-making environment.
- Commercial judgement and experience shaping opportunities from early conversations through to an agreed scope of work.
- Strong influencing skills, with the ability to navigate complex organisations and bring senior stakeholders together.
- Experience across utilities, water, infrastructure, transport, energy or another alliance-led environment. Experience in electricity distribution would be highly regarded.
