COMMERCIAL REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN

100% Refrigeration | No Air Conditioning

The Refrigeration Co. is a Perth-based commercial refrigeration specialist. We do not do any air conditioning, and we do not service major supermarket chains.

n

We're looking for a qualified technician who either already has commercial refrigeration experience or genuinely wants to develop into a solid commercial refrigeration specialist.

n

WHAT YOU'LL GET

- $50–$55 per hour + super, based on experience
n
- Higher rates considered for strong commercial refrigeration experience
n
- $2000 Sign-on bonus paid at 3-months
n
- Overtime paid in addition to your ordinary hours
n
- 2.30pm finish on Fridays
n
- Flexible start and finish times
n
- Fully equipped work van
n
- Full uniforms, safety gear and boots supplied
n
- Perth metro work, home every night
n
- No domestic work, no air conditioning or major supermarket chains

- Extensive support from an experienced technical and office team
n
- A practical, family-run workplace where good work is recognised and appreciated

- Rotating on-call roster of approximately one week in every five

THE WORK

n

You'll diagnose, repair, maintain and install commercial refrigeration equipment across hospitality,



healthcare, cold storage and other commercial sites.

n

Our work includes preventative maintenance, breakdowns and installations of:

n

- Cool rooms and freezer rooms
n
- Self-contained commercial fridges, freezers and ice machines
n
- Condensing units and evaporators
n
- Process chillers and specialised refrigeration equipment
n
- Rack systems
n

ABOUT YOU

n

You are a reliable technician who takes pride in your workmanship. You communicate well, can complete your job reports promptly and are comfortable taking responsibility for your work.

n

Commercial refrigeration experience is highly regarded, but we will also consider an experienced air conditioning service technician who is serious about specialising in commercial refrigeration instead.

n

You will need:

n

- Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
n
- ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence
n
- Restricted Electrical Licence
n
- White Card
n
- Current driver's licence
n

n

Two years of post-trade experience is preferred, but attitude, reliability and genuine interest in refrigeration matter much more.

n
