The Opportunity

n

This newly created position will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of our management and statutory reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and balance sheet governance. It's an exciting opportunity to lead a Senior Management Accountant and Management Accountant, utilising your management experience to support their growth and development. Working within a broader Finance team, you'll be championing effective decision-making across the business through accurate, timely, and compliant reporting.

What will you be doing?

n

n
- Lead, coach and manage a team of two, allocating and reviewing output to ensure accuracy and quality
n
- Own and oversee preparation of monthly management reporting and statutory financial reporting
n
- Manage the year end audit process and preparation of financial statements
n
- Lead the annual budgeting process and forecasting across the group, assisting with budget tracking and queries
n
- Own balance sheet reconciliation processes end-to-end
n
- Oversee accruals and prepayments processes to ensure completeness and accuracy.
n
- Act as the escalation point for management and statutory reporting queries from internal stakeholders.
n
- Identify and lead process improvement initiatives across reporting, budgeting, and balance sheet governance.

What are we looking for in you?

n

n
- Extensive experience in a financial or management accounting role
n
- Demonstrated experience in a management role, with the ability to coach, motivate, and manage performance across a technical accounting team.
n
- Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA),



or equivalent qualification
n
- Experience managing statutory reporting & audit, annual budgeting, and balance sheet reconciliation governance
n
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to improve processes and take ownership of outcomes, utilising automation and embedding strong controls
