New Leaf Dietetics is a growing private practice with our primary clinic located in Applecross. We're a team of 5 experienced dietitians providing high quality nutrition and dietetics care to all ages. We're expanding to a new, purpose built clinic in Applecross and looking for an experienced receptionist to join our team.

Who we're looking for

n

We're looking for an experienced receptionist who is warm and approachable, valuable communication and customer service skills, work autonomously at times, can multi task, confident learning and adapting to a new system. The successful applicant will have experience working in an allied health environment with a high level of understand of Medicare, DVA, NDIS and private health insurance billing requirements. Experience using Halaxy or Splose is also highly desirable.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Data entry for new referrals.
n
- Booking clients.
n
- Taking payments or invoicing the relevant organisation.
n
- Greeting clients
n
- Managing and following up rescheduled bookings.
n




- Small cleaning tasks at times (vacuuming, washing up, leaf blowing, ensure bathroom remains clean between cleaner visits)

Essential skills

n

n
- Thorough understanding of Medicare, DVA, NDIS and private health insurance billing requirements.
n
- Competent in using practice management software (Halaxy or Splose).
n
- Polite phone manner.
n
- Friendly and welcoming demeanor.
n
- Experience in customer service in a healthcare setting.
n
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs in a growing practice.
n
- A high attention to detail in all areas including cleanliness and presentation.
n
- Non-judgemental and inclusive of a diverse client base and workforce.
n
- Working with children's check.
n
- The right to work in Australia.
n
