About the role

Street Side Medics is a mobile GP-led health service that provides free, accessible, and holistic healthcare to individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness. We are seeking a dedicated Clinic Team Leader/Registered Nurse to lead our Sunday afternoon (3:45-5:45pm) service at Alfred Park in Parramatta. This is a hands-on, community-based role where you will not only provide nursing care, but also build trust, coordinate care, and connect patients to vital local health services.

Key responsibilities

- Attend the Parramatta clinic every Sunday afternoon and ensure smooth clinic operations
- Build relationships with patients and understand their health needs
- Work alongside volunteer doctors and health professionals to assess and care for patients
- Provide nursing care and assist with clinical procedures when required
- Facilitate referrals to local health services and specialists
- Follow up patient results and coordinate care between clinics
- Maintain accurate healthcare records
- Support and onboard new volunteers
- Prepare monthly rosters for clinic volunteers

About you

- Registered Nurse (AHPRA registered) with 3+ years' post-registration experience, ideally in community nursing, homelessness health, or a related field
- Adaptable,



resourceful, and comfortable providing care in a mobile clinic environment
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage challenges in a respectful and skilled way
- Team player who can motivate others and contribute to a positive work environment
- Committed to trauma-informed, patient-centered care
- Valid Police Check or agreeable to getting one before onboarding
