Role details The Theatre department at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Clinical Nurse Consultant (Endoscopy & CSSD) to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity The Clinical Nurse Consultant is an employee who is a registered nurse who:

Is appointed to an advanced practice nursing position; and

Demonstrates a specialised clinical expertise and/or specialised skill set.

About the Team The Day Surgery Unit plays a critical role in supporting Mackay Base Hospital in achieving National Elective Surgery Targets (NEST) and delivering a safe and efficient elective surgery pathway for all consumers within the MHHS district, ensuring appropriate preparation and coordination of elective surgical patients.
