Our busy ICU is actively seeking dedicated Clinical Nurses to bolster our team, provide exemplary leadership, offer crucial support to our junior colleagues, and ensure the ongoing safety and excellence of our unit. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of critical care within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

As a Clinical Nurse in our ICU, you will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

Your responsibilities will include guiding and mentoring junior team members, overseeing complex patient cases, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, and actively participating in quality improvement initiatives. You will act as a vital resource for critical decision-making, demonstrating advanced clinical knowledge and exceptional communication skills. Your expertise will directly influence patient outcomes and contribute significantly to the professional development of our nursing team.

Key Requirements

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.




- Post-graduate qualification in Critical Care Nursing or equivalent extensive experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of recent experience in a busy Intensive Care Unit setting, including the role of shift coordinator.
- Cardiothoracic experience.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience in guiding junior staff.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proven ability in advanced clinical assessment, critical thinking, and independent decision-making.
- Commitment to ongoing career development and quality improvement.

Remuneration On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from: $56.40 – 59.93

- superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (WA Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4)

Additional Information

- Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
