About the work unit / facility:

Townsville Renal Services provides acute and chronic renal replacement therapy, including haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.

The Charters Towers Renal

Unit is a four-chair satellite unit providing a six-day service for patients in the region.

Competitive salary and advantages:

Generous remuneration package value up to $103,411 p.a. comprising:

Salary range: $57.76 to $61.85 p.h. (NG6-1)

4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

Laundry allowance

North East District allowance

Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available





About your opportunity:

Join the Renal Satellite Unit in Charters Towers as a Clinical Nurse and provide advanced nursing care, clinical leadership and support for patients receiving renal care. You'll assess, plan and coordinate complex nursing care, support and mentor nursing staff, and contribute to clinical education, quality improvement and best-practice outcomes within the unit.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) and proof of registration (AHPRA)

Highly Desirable: Relevant postgraduate qualification in an appropriate field

Highly Desirable: Current Adult Life Support certificate

Required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster

This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.

Probation period may apply.
