The Clinical Practice Facilitator plans, facilitates and evaluates learning opportunities in partnership with the relevant Nurse Educator. The Clinical Practice Facilitator provides advanced clinical care within a specialty area, supporting the functioning of the unit through the application of leadership, best practice teaching and learning strategies and education portfolio management.
About the Team The Child and Youth Community Health Service (CYCHS) Nurse Education team provides educational leadership- facilitating the ongoing education of nursing staff and the broader multidisciplinary team to meet clinical, organisational and professional needs. With a focus on best practice that meets current contemporary evidence-based standards, the Nurse Education team provide educational leadership in the design, implementation and assessment of education programs for Child and Youth Community Health (CYCH) services.
About the Role In this role you will coach and support others to deliver for children, young people and families (Leader of Others) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values.
You'll fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health) Award - State 2015 - Generic Level Statements (GLS)
Nurse Grade 6 Band 1 and the Queensland Health and Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CHQHHS) commitments and values, in achievement of the organisational goals and Domains of Practice.
