About Waitro

Waitro is an app that connects restaurants, bars, catering, coffee shops and event companies with temporary waitstaff. We help venues cover last-minute absences or periods of high demand quickly and easily, while also offering flexible earning opportunities for professionals seeking extra shifts.

The app is live on the Apple Store and Google Play Store, with over 3000+ waitstaff already registered in Melbourne and surrounding areas. We are now entering a current phase: expanding our base of venues and structuring our Australian operation.

What we are looking for

We’re looking for a co-founder based in Melbourne, Sydney, or nearby who can actively build relationships and partnerships with catering companies, event businesses, hospitality associations, and other organizations that can introduce Waitro to venues and hospitality professionals at scale.

Existing industry contacts are valuable, but they are not required. What matters most is the ability to identify opportunities, start conversations, build trust, and convert those relationships into active partnerships and sign-ups on the platform.

Ideal profile

- Strong business development and relationship-building skills;




- Comfortable reaching out to new organizations and decision-makers;
- Ability to secure partnerships and bring companies onto the platform;
- Experience in sales, partnerships, business development, or account management;
- Hospitality industry knowledge is a plus, but not essential;
- Entrepreneurial mindset, autonomy, and collaborative spirit.
