We are looking for a Commercial Legal Manager to join a global infrastructure and construction business for a secondment in Sydney.

This role will report to the Head of Legal and provide hands-on legal and commercial support across a broad range of projects, tenders and commercial agreements. It will suit a lawyer who enjoys working close to the business, understands complex contracting environments and can provide practical, commercial advice in a quick-moving setting.

The Role

You will support the business on matters including:

- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements
- Contract risk review and advice
- Supporting internal stakeholders on legal and commercial issues
- Assisting with contract management, governance and general legal matters
- Working closely with project, commercial, procurement and operational teams.

About you





- Admitted as a lawyer in Australia with at least 5 years PQE
- Bachelor of Laws with current practicing certificate
- Experience supporting tenders, procurement or project delivery
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- The confidence to work directly with senior business stakeholders
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, transport or major projects will be highly regarded.
