Commercial Tilers

To be considered, you must have:

- Experience working on commercial construction projects
- A strong commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail
- The ability to read plans and work independently or as part of a team
- A proactive, reliable and positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- A current White Card
- A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Own tools (preferred)
- Experience in natural stone restoration (cleaning, polishing, honing, sealing and repairs) will be highly favourable

Key Responsibilities

- Read and interpret architectural plans, tiling layouts and material specifications
- Inspect, clean and level surfaces prior to installation, including applying waterproofing membranes where required
- Accurately measure and cut tiles to fit specific dimensions using hand and power tools
- Order and manage delivery of materials to job sites
- Lay tiles in horizontal, vertical and diagonal patterns using adhesives or mortar; apply grout, sealing and polishing
- Liaise with clients, site managers and other trades to coordinate work and meet project deadlines
- Supervise and guide labourers, and support the training of apprentices




- Maintain compliance with Workplace Health and Safety requirements on all sites

Qualifications & Experience Required

- AQF Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling (or equivalent), OR equivalent relevant work experience
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of tiling materials, adhesives and tools
- Sound understanding of WHS protocols and PPE usage
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Labourers

We're also looking for motivated Labourers who have:

- Previous experience in construction or commercial tiling (preferred)
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- The ability to work in a rapid-paced team environment
- A current White Card
- A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- A positive attitude and commitment to workplace safety
