You are invited to join a dynamic team within the Communications and Engagement Services as a Communications Officer. In this role you will bring strong written and verbal communication skills which will enable you to build a solid understanding of the workings of communication that will enable you to build positive relationships with your team members and clients. You will use your organisational and interpersonal skills to provide administrative and communications support in a range of community and engagement activities.

The Communications and Engagement team is small energetic team that provides communications, engagement and events support to the Chief Executive and business units across the health service.

About your opportunity

In this position you will…

- Provide general administrative support to the Director and team as well as other tasks as required.




- Work in partnership with other areas of the CHHHS to achieve corporate communication objectives and consistency of messaging.
- Assist with running internal events including five annual staff awards programs, staff recognition events and executive team visits to facilities.
- Undertake internal communications activities including staff bulletins and producing staff newsletters.
