The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to join our Australia team and take ownership of compliance across our payments, merchant acquiring and lending businesses.

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and global teams to maintain our compliance framework, manage regulatory obligations and ensure the business continues to meet ASIC and AUSTRAC requirements as we scale.

What You’ll Do

- Own and maintain KPay Australia’s Compliance Management Framework and AFSL obligations
- Manage compliance requirements across ASIC, AUSTRAC and AML/CTF
- Conduct compliance monitoring, testing and risk assessments
- Manage compliance breaches, incidents and remediation
- Oversee KYC, CDD/EDD, sanctions and financial crime controls




- Support regulatory reporting and engagement with ASIC and AUSTRAC
- Provide practical compliance advice to business and senior stakeholders
- Review new products, processes and business activities from a compliance perspective
- Maintain compliance policies, procedures and registers
- Work closely with Risk, Operations, Product, Sales, Finance and Legal teams

What We’re Looking For

- 5+ years of compliance experience in financial services, fintech, payments, banking or lending
- Hands-on experience with both AFSL and AUSTRAC requirements
- Solid knowledge of ASIC, AML/CTF and financial crime compliance
- Experience in compliance monitoring, risk assessments and breach management
- Strong understanding of KYC/CDD/EDD and sanctions
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable working in a rapid-paced environment
- Payments, merchant acquiring or lending experience is highly preferred
