ZERO Markets is a multi-asset broker offering Forex and CFD trading products to retail and institutional clients across Australia, New Zealand and other global markets. We're growing our English-language content function to strengthen our website, education hub, and client-facing communications across our broader global markets.

Role Description

We're looking for a Content Manager to own all English-language content on the ZERO Markets website and supporting digital properties — from product pages and trading education to campaign copy. You'll be the single point of accountability for how ZERO Markets sounds and reads to English-speaking retail traders, working closely with Marketing, Compliance, and Sales to produce content that is engaging, accurate, and regulator ready.

This is a hands-on role: you'll write and edit content yourself, and coordinate approvals with Compliance to ensure every piece meets the financial promotion standards of the relevant regulatory frameworks across our operating markets (including ASIC, FMA, and other jurisdictions as ZERO Markets expands).

Key Responsibilities

- Own the end-to-end content strategy and calendar for the English-language ZERO Markets website, including product/landing pages, trading education content, blog content, and SEO-optimized copy.
- Write, edit, and publish high-quality content that balances commercial persuasiveness with regulatory compliance (no absolute return claims, balanced risk disclosure, no misleading comparisons).
- Partner with Compliance to route all client-facing content through sign-off, ensuring correct CFD risk warnings and jurisdiction-specific disclosures are applied consistently across our operating markets.
- Collaborate with Marketing to produce copy for Meta, Google, YouTube, and finance-publisher campaigns that align with financial promotion rules across our operating jurisdictions.
- Maintain and evolve the ZERO Markets tone-of-voice and style guide across all English content touchpoints.




- Work with the Product and Marketing teams to accurately translate technical trading concepts (leverage, margin, spreads, CFD mechanics) into clear, compliant retail-facing content.
- Monitor content performance (engagement, SEO rankings, conversion) and iterate based on data.
- Coordinate with the broader marketing team to ensure brand consistency across regions where content is localized or adapted.
- Own organic social media content (copy, captions, content calendar) for English channels, ensuring alignment with brand voice and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

- Working knowledge of Forex/CFD products, or strong willingness and aptitude to learn trading terminology quickly.
- 5+ years of experience in content management, copywriting, or content marketing, ideally within financial services, fintech, trading platforms, or another regulated industry.
- Exceptional written English — fluent, polished, and adaptable across formats (long-form education, punchy campaign copy, technical product pages).
- Familiarity with financial promotion compliance concepts (e.g. balanced risk disclosure, restrictions on absolute return claims) as applied across multiple regulatory jurisdictions — direct compliance experience is a strong plus.
- Experience managing freelance writers or a small content team.
- SEO fundamentals and experience using CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress, HubSpot, or similar).
- Strong project management skills; comfortable managing multiple content streams and deadlines simultaneously.
- Prior experience in a regulated financial services or online brokerage environment is highly beneficial.
- A collaborative style — this role sits at the intersection of Marketing, Compliance, and Sales, and requires someone who can navigate all three.
