Commercial / Industrial Spray Painters Heavy Vehicle & Transport Equipment | Northern Suburbs Melbourne

TRS Resourcing is seeking experienced Trade Qualified Spray Painters / Industrial Spray Painters for an established engineering and manufacturing business based in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs.

n

Due to increased production requirements, our client is looking to add two experienced Spray Painters to its workshop team for an immediate start.

n

The work involves qualified two-pack industrial spray painting of newly manufactured heavy vehicle and transport equipment in a well-equipped production environment.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Sanding, surface preparation and masking to a high professional standard
n
- Mixing and colour matching paints to production specifications
n
- Applying primers, base coats and finishing coats using HVLP spray equipment
n
- Two-pack industrial spray painting of heavy vehicle and fabricated equipment
n
- Preparing a range of steel and fabricated components for painting
n
- Reading and working from job specifications and production documentation
n
- Maintaining consistently high standards of finish and workmanship
n
- Following workshop safety, quality and production procedures
n
- Working independently and as part of an established production team
n

To Be Successful, You Will Have

n

n
- Trade qualification in Spray Painting,



Vehicle Painting or equivalent relevant experience
n
- Minimum 3+ years' experience with industrial or commercial two-pack spray painting
n
- Previous experience with heavy vehicles, transport equipment, machinery, fabricated steel or similar products
n
- Strong surface preparation and masking skills
n
- Experience using HVLP spray equipment
n
- Good colour-matching and paint-mixing ability
n
- Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your finished work
n
- Ability to work unsupervised and meet production requirements
n
