Job Description

Our client is looking for a Cloud Security Consultant to join a high-performing Professional Services team delivering enterprise-scale cloud security transformations across Australia and New Zealand.

This is a hands-on consulting role in which you'll work directly with enterprise and government customers, helping them design, deploy and operationalise industry-leading cloud security solutions. You'll partner with architects, DevOps teams and technical leaders to embed security into modern cloud environments while acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the engagement.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Lead customer workshops to gather requirements and define solution scope.
n
- Design High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLDs and LLDs) for cloud security deployments.
n
- Deploy and configure Cortex Cloud / Prisma Cloud across AWS, Azure and GCP environments.
n
- Implement Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and Cloud Workload Protection (CWPP).
n
- Integrate security into DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines using modern GitOps practises.
n
- Work closely with customer engineering and DevOps teams to implement security guardrails and shift-left practises.
n
- Migrate security policies from legacy and competing cloud security platforms.
n
- Produce operational documentation, runbooks and as-built documentation.
n
- Deliver knowledge-transfer sessions to customer operations teams.
n
- Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure successful project delivery and customer outcomes.
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform.
n
- Experience securing Kubernetes environments including EKS, AKS or GKE.
n
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including routing, firewalls and IPSEC VPNs.
n

n

DevSecOps

n

n
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles.
n
- Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
n
- GitOps experience with tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
n
- Terraform expertise.
n
- Python and/or Bash scripting.
n

n

- Australian Citizen with an active NV1 (or higher) security clearance.
