About the role The Corporate Finance Manager - Group Reporting is responsible for the integrity of the Group's financial reporting, consolidation, treasury management and financial control environment.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role ensures accurate and timely month-end reporting, group consolidation, cashflow management, statutory compliance and audit readiness across the organisation. The role also leads the Group reporting calendar and provides technical accounting expertise to support strategic decision-making and ensures the finance function operates efficiently, effectively, and in alignment with business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cycle, coordinating month-end close activities across the Group and driving consistency, accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Prepare Group consolidated accounts,
including intercompany reconciliation and eliminations, balance sheet governance, and the preparation of statutory financial statements and external reporting requirements.
- Lead cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and working capital optimisation to support the organisation's financial strength and strategic growth.
- Coordinate taxation compliance activities across income tax, FBT, GST and payroll tax, partnering with internal stakeholders and external advisers to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant reporting and regulatory obligations.
- Maintain & enhance the Group’s financial control framework, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and policies, leading external audit processes, and providing technical accounting expertise to support robust governance and regulatory compliance.
- Lead and develop an accountant, driving high performance, process improvement and systems optimisation, while acting as a trusted deputy to the Group Financial Controller.
About you
- CA/CPA qualified
- 7+ years finance experience within a multi-entity environment
- Robust consolidation and financial reporting expertise
- Treasury and cashflow management experience
- Strong understanding of Australian Accounting Standards
- Advanced Excel and financial systems capability
- Experience managing external audits
- Desirable ASX-listed or large private group experience
- Advantageous if had experience with acquisitions and integration activities
