We are seeking a Corporate Accounting Lead for a 12-month fixed-term opportunity to support the Corporate Accounting team through a period of digital transformation, system stabilisation and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager - Corporate Accounting you will be responsible for:

- Acting as an Subject Matter Expert (Finance & Accounts Payable) for the Procurement (Coupa) and Finance system (SAP S/4HANA)
- Manage the Delegation of Authority updates in the Procurement system
- Accounts Payable process review and continuous improvement
- Day to day supervision of AP officers and Receipting Officer (3.4 FTE)
- Assist with Cash Forecasting Process
- Review all payment runs and banking journals
- Credit Card Management: Supporting the administration of credit cards and the expense management system
- Month End activities including
- Bank and credit card reconciliation
- Aged creditors and receivables reconciliations
- Review of sales accruals and sales invoices




- Review of monthly production and sales volume

- Participate in regular SAP, Coupa and Promaster releases requiring testing, impact assessments and user support
- Assist in ad hoc data requests and audit queries
- Payment times reporting preparation and lodgement (half-yearly)

To be successful in this role, you will require the following skills and experience:

- Minimum 8 years' experience post qualification in accounting
- CA or CPA Qualification
- SAP and Coupa experience desirable
- Process and system driven including troubleshooting independently
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Sound organisational skills, including multitasking, time-management and influencing without authority
- High level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, high attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
