CK Recruitment are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Council Workers to join a busy local government team. This is a hands-on role suited to candidates who enjoy working outdoors and contributing to the community across multiple operational areas including Parks & Gardens, Civil Construction, and Waste Services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Parks & Gardens maintenance (mowing, whipper snipping, hedging, planting, litter collection)
- Civil construction labouring (road repairs, concreting, drainage, signage, pothole patching)
- Waste operations (bin collection, clean-up tasks, offsiding, depot support)
- Operating small plant and equipment
- Traffic management and site safety compliance
- Manual handling and general labouring duties
- Working effectively within a team environment

Essential Requirements:

- Current Class C or MR Driver’s Licence (MR highly regarded)
- Valid White Card
- Previous experience in parks, civil or waste operations
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Reliable, punctual and team-oriented

Desirable:

- HR Licence
- Traffic Control tickets
- Experience operating machinery (rollers, skid steers, mowers, etc.)
