We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Counsellor || Therapeutic Case Manager to join our dedicated team in Cannonvale or Bowen. In this rewarding role, you’ll provide trauma-informed counselling and case management to empower clients on their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct client intake, assessment, and risk/safety planning
- Deliver trauma-informed counselling (individual and group)
- Provide immediate and ongoing support for victims of DFV and sexual violence
- Advocate for clients in court and assist with DFV orders
- Facilitate educational programs and community awareness initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with legislation
- Collaborate with agencies to enhance client safety and outcomes

? Position Details & Remuneration
- Full time role: 76 hours per fortnight
- Salary based on SCHADS Award Level 4–5 || $46.70 - $53.43 per hour
? What You’ll Need
Essential
- Diploma of Counselling
- Current Queensland Blue Card
- Current Driver’s Licence
Desirable
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Social Sciences, Social Work, Psychology, or related discipline
- 2+ years’ experience in DFV or sexual violence support
- Understanding of trauma-informed practice
- Eligibility or working towards membership with AASW, APS, ACA, or PACFA
