About the Role You'll be responsible for the management and collection of credit accounts, ensuring customers remain credit-worthy while supporting the timely processing and release of orders. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include investigating current credit applications, obtaining trade references, preparing credit reports and reviewing customer credit limits. You'll also use credit bureaux such as CreditorWatch and Equifax and ensure ROT interest is registered on the PPSA Register where required.

A key part of the role will be managing overdue accounts and achieving monthly collection targets. You'll monitor 60+ day overdue balances, follow up customers for payment and take appropriate action on overdue or over-limit accounts,



including stop-credit and internal or external collection/legal action where required.

You'll also review sales orders placed on credit hold and release them in accordance with credit policy, making correct and timely decisions within the scope of your role.

The role involves working closely with Sales, Service, Finance/Administration and customers, so strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills are essential.

About You We're looking for someone with a working knowledge of Accounts Receivable/Credit Control and a strong understanding of credit management and collections.

You'll need strong negotiation and communication skills, the ability to make sound decisions within your authority, and a good understanding of legal collection processes.

Advanced computer skills are important, including the ability to work with finance and ERP systems. The original JD specifically references the company's FGA (Epicor) computer system and the ability to quickly learn it, so candidates with Epicor or similar ERP experience will be well suited to the role.

You'll also be self-motivated, customer-focused, professional and comfortable building relationships across different teams. Integrity, teamwork and a willingness to continuously improve are important to the role.

A Higher School Certificate or equivalent is required. Membership of, or the ability to qualify for membership of, the Australian Institute of Credit Management (AICM) is desirable.
