About the role The primary purpose of this role is to oversee the efficient operation of all aspects of customer internal sales and as a result contribute to the branch budgets being met and exceeded. You will be the first point of contact for many of our customers, with the goal of making sure every customer walks away satisfied and with a positive experience.

Key responsibilities

- Providing exceptional customer service
- Managing the customer order report
- Managing the supplier order report
- Managing the Brisbane Sales email
- Inputting orders
- Answering phones
- Providing customers with quotations and following them up to a conclusion
- Purchasing as required
- Working with the warehouse team
- Communicating with internal and external sales staff

About you

- Outstanding customer service skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills




- The ability to think logically and solve problems accurately in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to work in a team workplace as well as work autonomously when required
- Demonstrated experience working within a customer service focused role
- Exceptional level of honesty and hardworking approach
- Commitment to learning, taking direction and continuous improvement
- 2-3 proven years' experience in a similar role
- Be self-motivated, positive attitude, organised and hardworking
- Have a calm temperament when dealing with customers
- Knowledge of industrial products
