We’re Hiring: Data Engineer – Data Migration

The Role

We’re looking for multiple Data Engineers with strong experience in cloud-based data engineering and modern data stacks. You’ll design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions using technologies such as Snowflake, DBT/Coalesce, Fivetran, Databricks, and Python/Java, while also building capability in Salesforce CRMA and Data Cloud

What You’ll Be Working On

- Extracting and profiling source data to identify missing values, duplicates, inconsistent formats and relationship issues
- Developing and maintaining SQL scripts, data preparation routines and ETL/ELT processes
- Designing and implementing scalable data solutions using modern cloud data platforms
- Implementing approved source-to-target mappings and transformation rules
- Performing data validation, reconciliation and unit testing
- Investigating rejected records, migration defects and data discrepancies
- Loading data into Salesforce and Snowflake using agreed engineering patterns
- Supporting migration testing cycles, rehearsals, cutover and post-migration validation
- Working with technologies such as Snowflake, dbt/Coalesce, Fivetran and Databricks
- Developing data processing and automation solutions using Python and/or Java
- Supporting and building capability across Salesforce CRM Analytics and Data Cloud
- Maintaining mapping specifications, technical documentation and operational runbooks




- Following version control, testing, deployment and secure data-handling standards
- Collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to identify and resolve data issues

What We’re Looking For

- 3+ years’ experience designing and implementing modern data stacks
- Hands-on experience in Data Engineering, ETL/ELT development or Data Migration
- Strong SQL knowledge, including joins, transformations and validation queries
- Experience with Python, Java or another scripting/programming language
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and modern data engineering technologies
- Good understanding of relational databases, keys, relationships and data-quality principles
- Experience testing data processes and investigating reconciliation discrepancies
- Familiarity with version control and structured software development practices
- Strong attention to detail and good technical documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams
- Ability to proactively identify, communicate and escalate data-quality or migration issues

Valuable to Have

- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks
- Experience using dbt and/or Coalesce
- Experience with Fivetran or similar data integration tools
- Experience with Salesforce data loading,Salesforce CRM Analytics (CRMA) and Data Cloud
- Exposure to SQL Server, DB2 or other enterprise database platforms
- Experience with cloud integration tools or automated data testing
- Experience working with sensitive information in controlled environments
