Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Quality Analyst to support data quality, validation and governance activities across critical data elements (CDEs).

The successful candidate will work closely with Data Owners, Business Analysts and technical stakeholders to validate data quality, investigate data issues, develop data quality rules and support remediation activities. The role requires strong SQL, Amazon Redshift and Power BI experience, along with a solid understanding of data governance and quality frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform Critical Data Elements (CDEs) Data Quality (DQ) verification to ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency and compliance with defined business rules.
- Identify and define new data quality rules and validation checks based on business requirements, data profiling and emerging data issues.
- Investigate failed data quality records by developing and analysing SQL queries across source and target systems.
- Document data quality findings, business rules, root causes, remediation actions and decisions in Confluence to maintain governance and auditability.
- Collaborate with Data Owners, Business Analysts and key stakeholders to validate DQ rules, thresholds and business conditions.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for data quality issues and coordinate remediation activities with relevant teams.
- Develop and maintain SQL solutions in Amazon Redshift for Customer Outreach Critical Data Elements (CDEs).
- Enhance and modify SQL logic in response to new findings, working group recommendations and evolving business requirements.
- Prepare and share data extracts, analysis results and validation outputs with Business Analysts and Data Owners to support decision-making and issue resolution.
- Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to monitor data quality metrics, trends, rule performance and remediation progress.
- Support ongoing data governance initiatives by promoting data quality best practices and ensuring alignment with organisational standards.

Key Skills & Experience

Mandatory

- Strong experience in Data Quality / Data Analysis roles within an enterprise environment.
- Strong hands-on SQL skills, including complex queries,



data validation and investigation of data issues.
- Experience working with Amazon Redshift .
- Strong understanding of Data Quality concepts , including accuracy, completeness, consistency, validity and timeliness.
- Experience defining and implementing Data Quality rules and validation checks .
- Demonstrated experience performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on data issues.
- Strong Power BI experience, including developing dashboards and reports.
- Experience working with Critical Data Elements (CDEs) .
- Strong understanding of Data Governance principles and practices.
- Experience documenting data quality rules, findings and remediation activities using tools such as Confluence .
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with Data Owners, BAs and technical teams.

Desirable

- Experience within a regulated or highly governed enterprise setting.
- Experience with Customer Data or Customer Outreach datasets.
- Knowledge of data profiling and data lineage.
- Experience working with data governance frameworks and data stewardship practices.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures.
