Job Title – Data Modeller
Job Location – Sydney
Employment Type – Contract/FTC
What Role You Will Play In Team : Data Modeller Proficiency in data modelling techniques, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Knowledge of database management systems, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Experience with contemporary data technologies, such as NoSQL databases, data lakes, and cloud-based data solutions.
- Experience in reading and writing moderate to complex SQL commands/queries and accurately assessing results.
- Ability to work with the business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers and data architects to model current and new data platforms in GCP Big Query.
- Should be able to define and enforce best practices for BigQuery data modeling experience.
- Strong understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance considerations in GCP.
- Must have a good understanding of various data formats XML, JSON, CSV, Database.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex data-related challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and practices is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in data architecture, database management, or related fields are advantageous.
- 6+ Years of professional experience in IT industry with Data Modelling Techniques and Methodologies is preferred.
