About the role

You will work across both ACT Ortho and ACT Perio, assisting our specialist clinicians and helping to provide an exceptional experience for our patients.

Key responsibilities

- Chairside assisting for orthodontic and periodontal procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining excellent infection control standards
- Sterilisation and instrument processing
- Taking and assisting with clinical photographs, scans and records
- Preparing patients for treatment and ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for
- Assisting with orthodontic procedures, including braces, aligner treatment and more
- Assisting with periodontal and surgical procedures
- Helping ensure the practice runs smoothly and efficiently
- Providing a warm, professional and positive experience for patients

About you

- Friendly, caring and confident with patients
- Reliable, organised and proactive
- A strong team player with a positive attitude
- Comfortable working in a busy, growing practice
- Able to adapt and learn new systems and clinical workflows
- Interested in developing skills across both orthodontics and periodontics




- Committed to high standards of patient care and attention to detail
- Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
- Experience in orthodontics or periodontics would be highly regarded
