Experienced Dental Assistant – 2–3 Days per Week

Orchard Dental is a modern, patient-focused family practice located in the the leafy Beecroft/Carlingford area. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional dental care in a warm, welcoming environment and are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our friendly team.

This position has an immediate start, working 2–3 days per week, with the opportunity for additional hours.

About the Role This role is primarily focused on chairside dental assisting, supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality patient care across a range of procedures. From time to time, you will also assist at reception to help ensure a seamless patient experience.

Responsibilities

- Chairside assisting during dental procedures




- Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining clinical standards
- Infection control and sterilisation procedures
- Supporting patient comfort and care throughout their visit
- Stock control and general clinical support duties
- Occasional reception duties, including answering phones, scheduling appointments and welcoming patients

About You
- Minimum 12 months' dental assisting experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Well organised with strong attention to detail
- Positive, professional and reliable
- Able to work efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining a calm and friendly manner
- Enjoys being part of a team and contributing to a positive workplace culture
- Experience with dental software is an advantage

Pay: $27.27 – $38.66 per hour
