We're looking for a Deputy Residential Manager to join an 83-bed residential aged care home in Young, working alongside an established Residential Manager and Clinical Care Coordinator.

The home has just come through a full refresh: new paint, new flooring, new curtains, new hand washing stations and updated furniture throughout. You'd be walking into a well-resourced site with a settled leadership team already in place, not one you're trying to stabilise from scratch.

What you'll be doing

- Be the trusted second-in-charge, keeping shifts running with consistency and calm
- Monitor and review individualised care plans across the home
- Provide a visible, hands-on presence on the floor, including handovers and mealtimes
- Mentor, coach, and support the care team day-to-day
- Liaise with doctors, hospitals, families and regulatory bodies to support continuity of care
- Support rosters, budgets, procurement, and cost containment at site level




- Provide hands-on clinical input for residents with complex needs (if you're an RN DRM)

What you'll bring

- Minimum 5 years' experience in aged care or a related health setting
- Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or relieving leadership role
- Certificate III, IV or Diploma in Nursing, or a Nursing degree with current AHPRA registration if you're coming in as an RN DRM
- First Aid Certificate with CPR
- A solid understanding of aged care regulatory and funding frameworks
- Strong documentation, audit prep and reporting skills
- The ability to stay calm and clear-headed when things get busy
