We are seeking an experienced DevSecOps Consultant to support enterprise digital transformation initiatives by integrating security practices throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on implementation experience in DevSecOps, cloud platforms, CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, and security tooling within complex enterprise environments.

Role : DEVsecops Consultant

Location: Sydney

Open for Fixed term contract - 12 months or Permanent position

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end DevSecOps solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Embed security controls and compliance requirements into CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate security testing and vulnerability management throughout the SDLC.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Collaborate with development, security, infrastructure, and business teams to establish DevSecOps best practices.
- Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or Bamboo.
- Integrate security scanning tools such as SAST,



DAST, SCA, Container Security, and Secrets Management solutions.
- Support containerization and orchestration platforms including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement cloud-native security controls across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
- Drive automation initiatives to improve deployment efficiency, security, and reliability.
- Perform security assessments, threat modeling, and remediation activities.
- Prepare technical documentation, architecture artifacts, and operational runbooks.
- Support production deployments, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

Implementation Experience

- Proven experience delivering DevSecOps transformation programs for enterprise clients.
- Hands-on implementation of secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Security integration within Agile and DevOps delivery models.
- Experience migrating traditional applications to cloud-native DevSecOps platforms.
- Experience implementing automated compliance and governance controls.
- Experience with enterprise-scale cloud security deployments.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related discipline.
- Relevant certifications such as:
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
- Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS)
- CISSP
- Certified DevSecOps Qualified
- Terraform Associate
