Role Description The Digital Print Operator / Finisher is a full-time, on-site role based in the Logan / Brisbane Area. This position is responsible for operating digital and large-format printers, preparing print files, and ensuring print jobs are completed accurately and on schedule. Daily tasks include setting up and running print equipment, monitoring output for quality, and performing finishing activities such as trimming, binding, laminating, and mounting.

The role also involves basic printer maintenance, troubleshooting minor issues and collaborating with team members to meet customer deadlines. The operator/finisher is expected to follow safety procedures, maintain a clean work area,



and contribute to continuous improvement in print production processes.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Print Production and Printing, with experience operating digital and large-format print equipment as well as laser and CNC equipment an advantage.
- Practical experience in bindery and finishing processes, including cutting, laminating, binding, and mounting.
- Ability to provide effective Printer Support, including routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Attention to detail and commitment to Quality Control to ensure accurate, consistent, and high-quality output.
- Good organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple jobs and meet deadlines.
- Ability to read and interpret job tickets, artwork specifications, and production instructions.
- Comfort working in a hands-on production environment, including standing for extended periods and handling materials.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and support customer-focused service.
- Previous experience in a print shop or related production environment is preferred.
