The Opportunity
Reporting into the Executive Director People and Culture, the Director, Human Resources will be a key member of the People & Culture leadership team, leading HR Business Partnering, Employee Relations and operational HR service delivery across the organisation. You will provide strategic HR advice directly to RCH's Executive and CEO, shape the employee experience end-to-end, and lead a passionate team of approximately 18 FTE with clarity and purpose.
This is a role for someone who doesn't just talk about culture; they build it.
RCH is looking for a leader who champions a people-first approach and genuinely believes that great HR is the foundation of excellent patient care.
What You'll Bring:
- Extensive experience as a senior HR leader in a medium-to-large organisation, with a contemporary understanding of leading Human Resource practice
- Extensive experience in complex public sector settings; additional commercial/private sector exposure will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated leadership across recruitment, workforce attraction, employer branding, industrial relations, remuneration, HR operations, and diversity & inclusion
- Broad general management capability including budget, project, contract and risk management
