Details: Are you experienced in the delivery of complex, public facing programs? Do you enjoy working across a diverse portfolio of projects that make a tangible difference to the community? If so, we'd like to hear from you.

The Property Infrastructure and Electrification Branch is seeking a highly capable Director to contribute to the delivery of complex programs and manage the relevant financial matters in those programs.

A key focus of the role will be supporting the delivery of the Private Buildings Cladding Scheme, which is significant by virtue of its improvement to the safety of the ACT community, this is achieved by reducing the risk of fire in eligible private apartment buildings.

The successful applicant will provide support to the cladding and finance teams during the remediation phase of the Scheme, this will include liaison with stakeholders of eligible buildings, managing service providers to the program and financial reporting, with a view to ensuring successful program outcomes.

The Branch is responsible for the procurement and delivery of construction and trade services that support the management, renewal and transformation of ACT Government-owned properties. Our work spans a broad range of initiatives, including:

- Electrification of Government Gas Assets
- The Big Canberra Battery
- Small to medium-scale construction and capital works projects
- The ACT Cladding Rectification Program

A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.

This position is located in a workplace designated for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.

Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, flexible start, and finish times.
