Details: WorkSafe ACT is a fully independent office headed by the Work Health and Safety Commissioner. We protect workers and workplaces through compliance, enforcement, education, inspection and investigation.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated leader to fill the temporary position of Director, Systems and Capability within WorkSafe ACT.
The Director, Systems and Capability is responsible for leading a range of business support functions, including Salesforce administration, system enhancement, capability development and continuous improvement initiatives. The role provides strategic advice to senior leadership and oversees the development and support of ICT capabilities that enable WorkSafe ACT to achieve its operational and strategic objectives.
As a member of the broader Senior Leadership Team (SLT+), you will lead a small, high-performing team, build strong stakeholder relationships and drive innovative solutions that strengthen organisational capability and system performance.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent stakeholder engagement skills and significant experience managing and enhancing business systems, particularly Salesforce. Experience delivering organisational capability initiatives and providing high-level strategic advice will be highly regarded.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
- Experience and/or knowledge of modern cloud-based technology platforms, particularly Salesforce and Objective, is highly desirable.
- Relevant qualifications in information technology, computer science, data science or a related field, and/or equivalent industry experience, are highly desirable.
Notes: This is a temporary position available from 10 November 2026 Until 23 November 2027. Selection may be based on referee reports and written application only. A Merit Pool may be established from this process and may be used to fill substantially identical vacancies over the following 12 months. This position operates in an activity-based working environment.
