We are seeking a reliable and organised Support Worker to assist a 20 year-old participant with two key areas of work. Below are the two positions we are hiring for-

POSITION 1: Domestic Assistance & Meal Preparation The successful applicant should:

- Have experience with household cleaning and maintaining a clean, organised home environment.
- Be confident preparing simple, healthy meals based on the participant's preferences and requirements.
- Be able to assist with general household tasks, including cleaning, kitchen duties and meal preparation.

POSITION 2: Study, Exercise & Community Access

- Be comfortable attending the gym with the participant and actively supporting and encouraging regular exercise.
- Be able to assist the participant in completing exercises and routines prescribed or recommended by their physiotherapist or other treating professionals.
- Be able to provide regular prompting, encouragement and motivation to help the participant commence and remain engaged with university study.
- Support the participant with time management, maintaining a study routine and staying focused on planned study tasks.
- Be patient and persistent in encouraging participation, particularly when the participant is distracted or lacks motivation.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT:

- MUST have very good english language skills (for Position 2)
- MUST have your own car and comprehensive car insurance (for Position 2)
- Full and Clean Australian Driver’s License (for Position 2)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check




- Qualification or Studying Disability/Nursing/Social Work/similar OR has equivalent experience
- Working with Children Check (must be employee card, not volunteer)
- First Aid Level 2 (current)
- CPR (current)

In this job, you will be working with participants 1-to-1

Please note, we are not a RESIDENTIAL CARE CENTRE/UNIT. You will work at the participant's residence and provide 1-to-1 service.
