Disability Support Worker – Casual

Roseville Care is seeking compassionate, reliable and experienced Disability Support Workers to join our growing team. This casual position is suitable for someone passionate about helping people with disability live safely, independently and confidently.

Pay rate: From $38.00 per hour, with applicable penalty rates.

Key responsibilities

- Assist participants with personal care, hygiene and daily living activities
- Support community access, appointments, shopping and social activities
- Administer medication in accordance with participants’ medication plans
- Prepare meals and assist with household tasks
- Support participants with mobility and transport requirements
- Follow individual support plans, behaviour support plans and risk-management procedures
- Complete accurate shift notes, medication records and incident reports
- Promote participants’ dignity, independence, choice and control
- Work professionally with participants, families and other service providers
- Provide SIL, drop-in, community participation and sleepover support when rostered

Essential requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Disability Support Worker
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services or a related qualification
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check, where required




- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate
- Valid Australian driver’s licence
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Australian working rights
- Good communication and written documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability for morning, afternoon, evening, weekend and sleepover shifts
