We are currently seeking a reliable, compassionate and enthusiastic Disability Support Worker to join our team and provide ongoing support to a 61-year-old male client in Loganlea, QLD.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys getting out into the community, building a robust rapport and supporting someone to participate in activities they genuinely enjoy.

About the Role You’ll provide person-centred support focused on helping our client enjoy his regular community activities while providing reassurance and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.

Our client enjoys a variety of outings and experiences, particularly activities involving nature, water and the local community. Some of his favourite activities include:

- Visiting the beach
- Going out for lunch
- Enjoying nature walks
- Visiting parks with lakes or water features
- Stopping for a drink or snack
- Exploring the local community

Our client seeks physical reassurance by lightly touching those supporting him to help maintain a sense of stability. We’re looking for someone who is patient, understanding and comfortable providing calm and consistent support. You’ll play an important role in helping him feel safe, supported and confident while enjoying his time in the community.

Available Shifts We currently have the following ongoing shifts available:

- Tuesday: 9:00am – 12:00pm
- Thursday: 9:00am – 12:00pm





These shifts are ideal for someone looking for consistent weekday hours and who enjoys community-based support. About You We’re looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about making a positive difference and who brings a friendly, respectful and person-centred approach to their work.

You will ideally be

- Compassionate, patient and reliable
- Comfortable supporting someone in the community
- Confident providing reassurance and maintaining a calm environment
- Respectful of individual preferences, routines and communication styles
- Someone who enjoys building meaningful professional relationships
- A female Support Worker is preferred

Essential Requirement As the role involves community access and driving duties, you must have:
- Comprehensive motor vehicle insurance

What You’ll Earn SCHADS Award B2.1 Casual Rates (before tax):

- Base hourly rate: $45.28/hr
- Afternoon shift: $49.80/hr
- Active Night: $50.71/hr
- Saturday: $63.39/hr
- Sunday: $81.50/hr
- Public Holiday: $99.61/hr
