About the role

Sunland Support is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to support children in a centre-based program in Lindfield.

Regular weekday afternoon shifts from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm and weekend shifts from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm are available.

Key responsibilities

- Supporting children to participate in centre-based group activities
- Assisting with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation and medication supervision
- Supporting children to access community resources, transport and social activities




- Monitoring and documenting children’s progress and reporting any concerns or changes to the office

About you

- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Minimum three years of relevant disability support experience in Australia
- Minimum one year of experience supporting children in Australia
- Certificate in Disability, Community Services or Aged Care, or an equivalent or higher qualification
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Manual Handling competency completed within the past 12 months
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current National Police Check

Previous experience supporting children in a centre-based setting is highly desirable.
