Female Disability Support Worker – Regular Weekday Shifts | Upper North Shore

We are looking for a reliable, punctual and cheerful female support worker to provide regular one-to-one support to a young woman with an intellectual disability in Sydney's Upper North Shore.

This is an ongoing role with regular weekly/fortnightly shifts and would suit someone looking for consistent part-time hours alongside study, other support work or another job.

Support may include

- Transport to and from work, appointments, gym and community activities
- Building independence with everyday routines and community access
- Encouraging communication, confidence and social interaction
- Providing prompts and practical assistance where needed
- Occasional weekend/community activities may be available

About you We are looking for someone who is dependable, calm, encouraging and genuinely enjoys helping a young person build independence. Reliability and good communication with the family are particularly significant.





You will need a valid driver's licence and your own reliable car, and ideally an NDIS Worker Screening Check and First Aid/CPR and some disability-support experience. Applicants studying occupational therapy, speech pathology, psychology, nursing, education or allied health are also very welcome.

This role is suitable for an independent support worker with an ABN

Location: Hornsby/Lindfield/Chatswood area

Hours: Regular weekday shifts, with a mix of morning and afternoon hours

Rate: $35–$45 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Start: As soon as suitable
