Local Driver MC (HC for the right fit)

Location: Adelaide

Hourly Rate: $32.31

Roster: Monday to Friday Day Shift + Occasional Weekend shift availability.

Our Adelaide depot is looking for a Local MC Driver to join the team, offering a permanent full-time position.

This role is ideally suited to an experienced MC Driver that still wants to be behind the wheel but also wishes to be home each night. A key role keeping our depot moving.

What You'll Do
- Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Safe Always - Demonstrating safe work practices, leading by example and promoting a safe work culture.
- Temperature Sensitive Freight - working with and understanding temperature sensitive freight, ensuring the safe and timely handling.
- Customer Service - Interacting with customers in a professional manner.
- Teamwork & Communication - Working closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight.
- Good Work Ethic - Reliable, supportive and the ability to have a go!
- Quality Checks & Control - Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery of paperwork.

What You'll Bring:
- Current MC licence
- Proven commercial driving experience (local or metro delivery experience is a bonus)
- Refrigerated or cold-chain experience is helpful, but not essential
- A safe driving record (current driving history report required)
- A robust focus on safety and doing the job properly
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, on time and take pride in your vehicle and your work
