Dump Truck Operator – Bowen Basin QLD

Chandler Macleod is seeking experienced Dump Truck Operators for an open-cut coal operation in the Bowen Basin, Queensland. If you’re chasing consistent work, strong hourly rates, and a genuine 7/7 lifestyle roster, this is a outstanding long-term opportunity.

What you’ll be doing

- Operating CAT 793 & CAT 797 rigid haul trucks
- Prestrip operations
- Working under excavators, shovels, loaders and scrapers
- Following site HSE, SOPs and safety systems
- Meeting production targets in a high-volume mining environment

Roster & site details
- 7/7 rotating day/night roster (Thursday to Wednesday)
- DIDO / BIBO / local applicants preferred – limited FIFO capacity available
- Bowen Basin QLD
- Accommodation, meals and PPE supplied
- Long-term ongoing casual role
- Positions across A/C & B/D crews

Pay & benefits
- $81.14 per hour casual (inclusive of 25% casual loading)
- Bonus incentive: $288
- Immediate start available

What you’ll need
- Demonstrated experience in open-cut coal mining (QLD)
- Proven operating experience on CAT 793 & CAT 797
- Experience working under shovel/excavator/loader
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence
- Standard 11 (preferred)
- Current Coal Board Medical (preferred)
- Signed training transcripts showing machine hours
- Full Australian working rights
